The Human Development Center is non-profit 501[c] 3 agency incorporated in 1987.  HDC is dedicated to expanding access to and enhancing the quality of child care and is supported in part by the Cook County Department of Health Project for Infant Mortality Reduction, the Illinois Department of Children and family Services Office of Child Development, the Illinois State board of Education USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program, and by the Illinois Department of Human Capital Development Bureau if Child Care.

CANDY'S COATS FOR KIDS

In 2005 Candy’s Coats for Kids, distributed over 200 new coats and accessories, and in 2006 we distributed 150.  Items were distributed to school aged children as well as young adults.
